BHOPAL: Two terrorists wanted in two cases in Jammu and Kashmir—have been arrested from Shahjahani Park under Talaiya police station limits in the Madhya Pradesh capital last night, police said.
"Based on information from the Jammu and Kashmir police, the duo—Shoukat Ahmed and Mehrajuddin Shergujri—were arrested from Shahjahani Park during midnight. Both are residents of Bandipur in Jammu and Kashmir," said Director General of Police SK Rout.
A police team from Bandipur has left for Bhopal to interrogate the terrorists.He said detailed information about both terrorists and since when and for what purpose the two were in Bhopal will be known when the police team arrives here. Both were wanted in connection with terrorist incidents on August 25, June 2008, and June 25, 2009, by Bandipur police. (UNI)
